Our Village

We walked around the village of Balsall Common and took hundreds of photographs.

Back in the classroom 2A used Photostory 3 to make a short film about our field trip.

2H and 2T took a video camera and filmed important areas and buildings in the village. Back in the classroom they edited and narrated their film to make a short movie about Balsall Common. This is 2H's video:

Mother Nature

We looked at designs based on nature. We looked at the line, shape, colour and texture of various artists work. We then made our own collage using the natural materials we collected from home.

MY WORLD

We made treasure boxes and spoke to the class about what was important to our worlds.

2H have been using 2Create a Story to make interactive books based on "The Very Lazy Ladybird" story by by Isobel Finn and Jack Tickle. They planned and wrote them on their own but worked as a class to edit spellings, improve describing words and checking punctuation.
